Wallpaper-Sized Images
Note: These images are very large, and many are hosted elsewhere, so some images may be slow to access at times.
I add new images approximately whenever I feel like it.
The images cataloged here are mostly wallpaper sized images I've created, almost all of them 3D. Computer graphics in general and three dimensional visualization in particular have long been interests of mine. Lately, some of my work has a biological slant to it. The interactions of biological structures at a molecular scale are invisible to most microscopy, but rendering the indirectly obtained data can be quite beautiful, so I plan to explore this area more in the future.
The scenes visualized here were created between 2000 and 2005, mostly with Blender. Other tools used in some of the images include external renderers like Yafray. Most of the images are sampled at 1280x1024 resolution, making them suitable for desktops.
Most of the older work once shown here has been removed, but remains browsable in the dumpbox. (not yet operational)
